Col. Sona Ram is an Indian politician, a member of the Indian National Congress political party and a former member of the Lok Sabha representing Barmer constituency in Rajasthan, India.[1][2]
He did B.E., Fellow (F.I.E.) from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and Institute of Engineers (India). He passed out of the Indian Military Academy in 1966 and commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Artillery Corps of the Indian Army. He served in 1971 War in Eastern Front. He retired from the Army as a Full Colonel in 1987.[3]
